About the Role

This is a highly specialized position that involves managing costs associated with construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring project requirements are met, and that costs are optimized without compromising on quality.

Key responsibilities of this role include cost estimation, budget management, contract administration, and validation of technical specifications received from design teams.

  • Study of project scope in-line with design requirements to ensure seamless execution.
  • Validation of technical specifications to guarantee compliance with client expectations.
  • Optimization of specifications to balance quality and cost.
  • Validation of bill of quantities (BOQs) and backup workings to prevent discrepancies.
  • Presentation of BOQs and solutions to senior management for approval.
  • Checking of request for allowance (RA) bills and final bills to ensure accuracy.
  • Preparation of amendments to accommodate changes in project scope.
  • Validation of budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrix to inform decision-making.
  • Submission of different budget options considering alternative solutions to actual design.
  • Exploring new products and taking them to approvals to enhance project efficiency.
  • Proposing different optimization options in budgets to maximize value.
