Job Title: Cloud Cost Management Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to spearhead cloud costing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of cloud-based costing solutions and a solid understanding of financial principles.

This role requires collaboration with finance and ERP teams to implement and support cloud costing strategies, including setup and maintenance of costing configurations.

The successful candidate will analyze cost data to ensure accuracy in inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS), and troubleshoot and resolve costing-related issues in cloud-based ERPs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for cloud-based costing solutions.
  • Collaborate with finance and ERP teams to design and deploy cloud costing strategies.
  • Configure and maintain costing setups, including cost books, cost elements, and cost methods.
  • Analyze cost data to ensure accuracy in inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including cost roll-ups and reconciliations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve costing-related issues in cloud-based ERPs.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Work closely with supply chain, manufacturing, and finance teams to align costing processes.
  • Provide training and documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
