About Business Valuation

This position is a key role in performing and managing business valuation engagements for both financial reporting (US GAAP) and tax reporting for various industries.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be driven, and have in-depth subject matter knowledge in valuations related to:

  • Business Combinations / Purchase Price Allocation
  • Goodwill Impairments
  • Gift and Estate Valuation
  • 409A/Stock Compensation (ASC 718)
  • Reviewing of 3rd party valuations
  • Assembling market/guideline/comparable financial and valuation data
  • Valuation of Equity, Debt, Derivatives etc.
  • Litigation arising out of Shareholder disputes etc.
  • Financial Modelling
  • Understanding of US Tax laws will be preferred.
  • Financial Reporting and Regulatory compliance under IFRS and/or US GAAP

Preferred qualifications include CFA, CA, MBA or equivalent, with proven hands-on experience and the ability to work on multiple high-value projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform and manage business valuation engagements for financial reporting (US GAAP) and tax reporting
  2. Assemble market/guideline/comparable financial and valuation data
  3. Valuate Equity, Debt, Derivatives etc.
  4. Review 3rd party valuations
  5. Conduct financial modelling

Requirements:

  1. CFA, CA, MBA or equivalent
  2. Proven hands-on experience in business valuation
  3. Ability to work on multiple high-value projects simultaneously
  4. Strong communication and analytical skills
