About our Technical Project Manager opportunity:

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to lead and deliver projects in data engineering and analytics.

Our ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams to execute data platform, pipeline, and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and analytics workflows, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

This role requires the ability to plan, execute, and deliver technical projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborating with engineering, product, QA, and operations teams to define project requirements and success metrics.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Tracking project progress using tools like Jira, Confluence, and reporting status to stakeholders.
  • Proactively identifying and resolving project blockers and dependencies.
  • Ensuring all technical documentation is current and aligned with project goals.
  • Facilitating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Managing third-party vendors or external contractors when applicable.
  • Advocating for continuous improvement in processes, tools, and team efficiency.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management within a technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall).
  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
