Service Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide high-quality service support for computer systems and large format printing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently in the field, and excellent communication and customer service orientation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Epson Large Format Printers at customer locations. They will also provide on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of large format printers and computer systems.

This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in service and maintenance of computers, printers, or large technical equipment. Strong knowledge of networking, computer hardware, operating systems, and printer drivers is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Epson Large Format Printers
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of large format printers and computer systems
  • Diagnose printer faults, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve technical issues related to printing systems and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, software, networking issues for business customers
  • Perform calibration, alignment, and test prints to ensure optimal printer performance
  • Maintain detailed service reports after each service visit, including issue diagnosis, resolution, and parts used
  • Coordinate with technical support teams and Epson service engineers for complex troubleshooting
  • Manage spare parts inventory and request replacements when needed
  • Provide technical guidance and training to customers on proper usage and maintenance of printers and computer systems
  • Ensure timely service response and achieve defined service KPIs
  • Support customer escalations and follow up to ensure issue resolution and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Education: Any degree (Engineering, Science, IT, Computer Applications, etc.) Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in service and maintenance of computers, printers, or large technical equipment.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of networking, computer hardware, operating systems, and printer drivers.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field, good communication and customer service orientation.
