As a Senior Design Operations Manager, you will oversee the management of design projects from inception to completion.

You will be responsible for guiding and managing coordination with vendors and business partners through the completion of projects. This includes ensuring timely delivery, quality control, and meeting customer satisfaction standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a portfolio of 12 to 15 design projects per month, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project scope.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including category teams and other departments, to drive business objectives and improve sales and design output.
  3. Develop and implement processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  4. Provide training and guidance to designers to achieve predictable sales and design output.
  5. Lead and manage site delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field, with a post-graduate qualification in Project Management or Construction Management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the building construction industry, preferably in a senior operations role.
  • Strong knowledge of individual trades and subcontractors relevant to interior fit-outs.
  • Tech-savvy professional with experience in adopting digital and technology initiatives to drive business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise and Qualifications

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Experience in conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of design software and technologies, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
