Job Title: Cloud Native Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Native Solutions Architect to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure. This role will be hands-on with architecture and automation while also providing strategic direction on cloud-native best practices.

Key Responsibilities:Cloud Architecture & Strategy
  • Define the end-to-end architecture for cloud-based workloads in Azure.
  • Design multi-environment, multi-region architectures for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Establish best practices for container orchestration, scaling, and governance.
  • Advise on cost optimization strategies for cloud resources.
Azure & AKS Expertise
  • Architect and provision AKS clusters with features like cluster and node pool autoscaling, private cluster configuration, network isolation using Azure CNI / Kubenet, managed identities, and Azure AD integration.
  • Integrate AKS with supporting Azure services: Azure Monitor, Managed Prometheus & Grafana, Azure Container Registry (ACR), and Azure Key Vault.
DevOps & Automation
  • Design Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for AKS provisioning.
  • Implement GitOps workflows for automated deployments.
  • Define CI/CD architecture using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for AKS workloads.
Security & Compliance
  • Architect RBAC and Azure AD security models for AKS access.
  • Integrate security scanning for container images and Kubernetes workloads.
  • Ensure alignment with compliance frameworks and governance policies.
Monitoring, Logging, & Observability
  • Architect observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Managed Prometheus, Container Insights, and Grafana.
  • Establish automated alerting, anomaly detection, and incident response playbooks.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, or related roles, with deep expertise in Azure and AKS. They will possess strong technical skills in Kubernetes, Azure networking, IaC tools, and container security and governance. Additionally, they should have experience designing and delivering scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years in cloud architecture, DevOps, or related roles.
  • 5+ years hands-on Azure experience, with deep AKS expertise.
  • Strong technical expertise in Kubernetes architecture & troubleshooting, Azure networking, IaC tools, and container security and governance.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
  • Experience with service mesh architectures and multi-cluster management tools.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to lead design workshops and architecture reviews.
  • Strategic problem-solver with hands-on implementation skills.
