Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support our global customers across the complete VMware Cloud Foundation stack.

This role involves providing technical guidance and support for infrastructure upgrades, participating in upgrade planning and remediation, administering and troubleshooting components including NSX, vSAN, and VxRail, as well as acting as a VMware Administrator across enterprise environments.

About the Role:

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance performance and reliability.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using VMware Cloud Foundation.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize improvements to cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure configurations and best practices.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, preferably with VMware Cloud Foundation.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware vSphere and vRealize Suite.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% for training, meetings, and customer sites.
