Cost Management Professional

The Cost Management Professional is responsible for managing costs associated with construction projects. This includes cost estimation, budget management, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study project scope in-line with design requirements to optimize project outcomes.
  • Validate technical specifications received from the design team to ensure accuracy.
  • Optimize project specifications without compromising client requirements or timelines.
  • Validate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and supporting documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Presentation of BOQs and solutions to stakeholders and obtaining approvals within designated timeframes.
  • Review Request for Allowance (RA) bills and final bills for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare amendments to project plans and budgets as necessary.
  • Validate budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrices to inform decision-making.
  • Submit different budget options considering alternative solutions to actual design.
  • Explore new products and technologies, and present them to stakeholders for approval.
  • Propose optimization options in budgets to improve project efficiency.
  • Complete Budget requirements in given Turn Around Time (TAT) without delays.
  • Prepare reports on cost analysis of Projects as per stakeholder requirements.
