About the Role

As a seasoned Engineering Manager, you will lead a small group of engineers working on a particular facet of our products and infrastructure across the stack. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of mentorship, team growth, and recruiting. You will be responsible for building and maintaining reliable products and systems that meet company goals, as well as ensuring bottom-up innovation and decentralized decision-making throughout the organization.

  • This role requires a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 years of engineering management experience, along with significant experience as a software engineer, ideally across organizations, industries, and technology stacks.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with other stakeholders to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a small group of engineers, providing guidance, support, and resources to help them grow and succeed in their roles.
  • Develop and implement a long-term technical strategy that anticipates future needs while being pragmatic about what's needed today.
  • Craft and communicate a clear vision for the team, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Mentor and develop the skills of your team members, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 and maximum 5 years of engineering management experience.
  • Significant experience as a software engineer, ideally across organizations, industries, and technology stacks.
  • A record of mentorship and helping others in their career growth.
  • Experience and excitement for recruiting, combined with a thoughtful approach to team growth.
