We're seeking a Senior Operations Manager to support our Sustainability Solutions team in ensuring seamless compliance with rules on behalf of Brands required to fulfill their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) targets for plastic and e-waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Brands adhere to existing regulations
  • Maintain standardized formats according to government, brand, or Recykal requirements
  • Document collections and verification as per commitments made to Brands
  • Proactive follow-ups with key Brands and stakeholders associated with Recykal
  • Closely monitor compliance-related documentation for accuracy
  • Manage multiple teams, both on-field and off-field
  • Enhance team efficiency by developing optimized processes for task completion
  • Facilitate open communication among management, staff, and vendors to ensure smooth operations
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
  • Pursue strategic and operational objectives
  • Guarantee timely completion of operational tasks within defined parameters
  • Monitor staffing needs and hire new employees as necessary
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team in a fast-paced environment, including career development planning and problem resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process implementation
  • Work closely with legal and safety departments to ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in handling operations
  • Prior experience in waste management is a valuable asset
  • Able to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously
