As a key member of the Crédit Agricole CIB team, the Communication Surveillance Compliance Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the bank's compliance with regulatory requirements. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing and monitoring communication surveillance across all business lines, providing input for the design of new strategies, and collaborating with relevant teams to ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
Main Responsibilities
- Implement and undertake monitoring of communications across all CACIB business lines.
- Collaborate with CM&S area to design new communication monitoring strategies.
- Undertake communication monitoring using Voice and E-Communication monitoring tools to a high standard.
- Review all generated daily alerts in a timely fashion and within the service level standard.
- Carry out general surveillance tasks such as reviewing and analyzing alerts, referrals, and escalations.
- Evaluate potential breaches and escalate promptly, recording audit trails in appropriate systems.
- Support regulatory and internal investigations as needed.
- Develop innovative approaches to improve vendor tool usage, tracking repeat offenders, and identifying patterns of activity.
- Identify and escalate instances of Market Abuse, Anti-competition, Conduct, Operational risk, and other market integrity issues to relevant Compliance teams and management.
- Participate in governance frameworks, including collaboration with other CACIB sites or functions.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times due to privileged information access.
