Senior Business Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will lead Agile ceremonies, ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with organizational goals.

  • Collaborate with pathology and laboratory teams to gather requirements, manage product backlogs, and prioritize user stories.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment on requirements and implementation.
  • Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Drive project execution with Agile best practices: track progress, identify risks, resolve blockers, and communicate updates to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless communication between business and technical teams.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and teamwork.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • 4+ years of experience in business operations, project management, or Scrum Master role.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, PMP, or equivalent certification.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare workflows, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
  • Proven experience in Agile methodology.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in digital pathology workflows and systems.
  • Prior involvement in healthcare system integrations and interoperability standards.
  • Technical familiarity with laboratory or imaging systems.
