We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to lead our backend systems development team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions using Java and Spring Boot.

About the Role
  • You will lead a team of experienced developers in the development of complex software systems, ensuring timely delivery of features and bug fixes.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reliable backend services primarily using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Architect and implement solutions involving Kafka for event streaming and messaging, ensuring seamless data integration.
  • Work extensively with both SQL and NoSQL databases, focusing on efficient data modeling and querying.
  • Implement and optimize Elasticsearch for search and analytics use cases, driving business growth through data-driven insights.
  • Apply strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design to solve complex problems and build scalable systems.
  • Drive performance tuning efforts, including caching strategies and multithreading optimizations, to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams; AWS experience is beneficial in streamlining operations.
  • Encourage and enforce coding standards, best practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Participate in code reviews and design discussions to guarantee scalable and maintainable solutions.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot framework, with at least 8 years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event streaming and messaging, ensuring real-time data processing.
  • Proficient in both SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), focusing on efficient data management.
  • Practical knowledge of Elasticsearch and its integration in backend systems, driving business growth through data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques, enabling effective solution design.
  • Experience designing and operating systems at scale with focus on high availability and performance.
  • Expertise in performance tuning, including caching strategies, to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Good knowledge of multithreading and concurrency in Java, enabling efficient software development.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to lead a team and interact with stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Kotlin programming language, enhancing software development capabilities.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services, streamlining operations and improving scalability.
  • Exposure to containerization and orchestration, ensuring efficient software deployment.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools, facilitating smooth software development and deployment.
  • Prior experience in leading technical teams or projects, demonstrating leadership abilities.
  • Experience with WebSockets for real-time communication, enabling interactive applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js backend development, expanding software development expertise.
