As a key member of our technical team, you will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining component specifications that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
You will develop detailed technical specifications for mechanical/electrical components, standardize product specifications, and review engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential as you will work closely with engineering, sourcing, quality, and production teams to validate bill of materials, datasheets, and 3D models.
In this role, you will also support efforts to standardize components and reduce part proliferation, maintain component libraries, and ensure specifications meet relevant international standards.
Additionally, you will handle engineering change requests, update and communicate specification changes across departments, and participate in the design and review of new components during new product introduction processes.
