Job Title: Storage Administrator

Location: Madurai, India

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled storage administrator to manage our SAN and storage environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mid-range and enterprise storages, zoning via Cisco SAN Switches, and monitoring tools like OPS Center Analyser and Hi-Track.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day administration for SAN and storage environments, including collaborating with customer storage support teams, participating in problem-solving and troubleshooting, and supporting the design, operation, workflow, and issue resolution for the storage infrastructure.
  • Help maintain systems-level maintenance for storage infrastructure, track existing storage usage trending, and capacity planning for future growth.
  • Provide Storage Area Network Configuration and Administration, perform capacity analysis, and analyze performance data and trends.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems, coordinate with Global Support, and perform necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with best practices.
  • Oversee the design, installation, configuration, and de-provisioning of storage solutions, and ensure IT Service continuity management, including monitoring of disaster recovery, data movement, and replication.
  • Mentor and train junior admins on various Host O/S and cluster management.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience handling majority of activities mentioned in the scope above.
  • Experience in handling storages and Brocade switches infrastructure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical certification is desirable.
