Infrastructure Security Professional

You will be responsible for implementing, configuring and maintaining infrastructure and monitoring tools across on-prem data centers (servers, networks, storage, firewalls) and hybrid cloud platforms. This includes deploying enterprise monitoring solutions to provide proactive visibility and alerting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement, configure and maintain infrastructure and monitoring tools to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen overall IT infrastructure posture and align tool deployments with organizational policies.
  • Deploy and manage vulnerability scanning tools to facilitate patch compliance.
  • Implement Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools for critical server and network infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage enterprise Antivirus/Endpoint Protection solutions.
  • Support firewall and network tool integrations.
  • Provide logs, metrics and dashboards during incident response and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage) and have hands-on experience in tool implementation and monitoring. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required, along with 6 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Tool-focused certifications such as SolarWinds Certified Professional, CyberArk Defender/Trustee, Microsoft Defender Certifications.
  • Cloud and hybrid certifications like Azure Security Engineer Associate/Administrator, AWS Security Specialty.
  • Infrastructure certifications including Data Center Certifications (Cisco CCNA/CCNP DC), Server/Storage (MCSE, VMware VCP-DCV, Dell EMC, HPE).
  • Network certifications such as CCNA/CCNP Routing & Switching or Security, Firewall vendor certs (Palo Alto, Fortinet).
  • Foundational certifications: CompTIA Security+, ITIL v4 Foundation.
