Lead Accounts and Finance Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to spearhead our commercial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing strategic financial guidance to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, deep knowledge of accounting principles, and a proven track record in financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records and timely closure of books of accounts.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and managing working capital for business needs.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
Compliance and Audit
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other applicable laws.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors for periodic audits.
Cash Flow Management
  • Manage cash flow, banking transactions, and fund utilization to optimize working capital and ensure liquidity for operational needs.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable to optimize cash flow and ensure efficient working capital management.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor the accounts and finance team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, integrity, and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or master's degree in accounting and finance field.
  • Proficiency in software such as Tally Prime, MS office etc.
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a mid-sized organization.
