Customer Service Representative Job Description

The primary goal of this role is to provide exceptional customer service by resolving customer queries in a timely and accurate manner. This involves proactive outbound calling to build rapport with customers, identifying their needs and requirements, and proposing suitable solutions by coordinating with cross-functional teams.

This position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to maintain long-lasting relationships with existing customers. Additionally, a deep knowledge of company products and services is essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in management, marketing, or a similar field, along with experience as a relationship manager, in customer service, or a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and ticketing systems is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the single point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
  2. Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate manner.
  3. Proactive outbound calling to build rapport with customers.
  4. Identify customers' needs and requirements and propose suitable solutions.
  5. Follow-up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved.
  6. Maintain a deep knowledge of company products and services.
  7. Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing customers.

Requirements:

  • Degree in management, marketing, or a similar field.
  • Experience as a relationship manager, in customer service, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and display patience when handling tough cases.
