
Senior Leadership Position

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead a key segment of our organization. As Section Manager, you will provide expert guidance and oversight to foster growth and development within the team.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as a role model, providing training, mentorship, and career advancement opportunities to staff. Lead performance appraisals and cultivate a positive work environment to attract and retain top talent.
- Recruitment & Retention: Assist in recruiting high-caliber professionals and drive engagement initiatives to ensure staff retention. Identify skill gaps and address them through targeted training or hiring.
- Project & Resource Management: Offer strategic input on projects and coordinate schedules and resource needs based on forecasting. Monitor staff utilization and ensure the team meets all objectives.
- Quality & Process Improvement: Champion a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to quality standards and develop tools and workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Operational Oversight: Review and approve timecards, monitor project budgets and schedules, and ensure the team completes assigned training.
- Safety & Ethics: Promote safety, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Foster a strong work-life balance and ensure team members uphold ethical standards.
- Education: A Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent from a reputable institution is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years of overall experience, with at least 2 years of leadership experience in managing large teams.
- Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to present complex information effectively.
- Proven technical ability in engineering design and project management.
- The ability to adapt to changes, make quick decisions, and foster innovation.
- Working knowledge of substation communication networks and industrial automation is preferred.
- Commitment: The chosen candidate is expected to commit at least 2 years to the role and assist in onboarding their replacement.
- Travel: Must be ready to travel to both domestic and international locations as required.
