Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to lead the design, development, and maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform.

The ideal candidate will have experience in CMDB development and administration within the ServiceNow platform, as well as proven experience leading CMDB projects and teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure CMDB solutions meet business needs.

The team member will implement and enforce CMDB data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

A key responsibility of this role is to develop and maintain CMDB documentation, including data models, workflows, and processes.

Additionally, the individual will provide technical leadership and mentorship to the CMDB development team.

Regular audits and data quality checks will also be performed by the team member to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Integration of the CMDB with other IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools is also required.

Staying up-to-date with ServiceNow CMDB best practices and industry trends is essential for this position.

Conducting training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on CMDB functionalities and best practices is also necessary.

  • Experience in CMDB development and administration within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proven experience leading CMDB projects and teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience with integrating CMDB with other ITSM processes and tools.
