**About the Role**

We are seeking a seasoned software testing professional to collaborate with our QA team. Ideal candidate has 4+ years of hands-on experience in Python for automation testing, combined with deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies and Agile processes.

This role is suitable for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering high-quality software through automated testing and continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Python.
  • Collaborate with development teams to create comprehensive test plans and cases.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
  • Perform API testing and validate backend services using Python-based tools.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Work in Agile/Scrum environments, participate in daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Ensure high test coverage and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation infrastructure.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

  • 6–12 years of total experience in software testing, with at least 4 years of strong hands-on automation experience in Python.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance processes, testing life cycle, and test methodologies.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium (with Python).
  • Solid experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Requests library, REST Assured).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
