Job Title: Chief Body-In-White Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Body-In-White Development Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of Body-In-White (BIW) structures for passenger cars.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Passenger Car BIW structure and Assembly, with expertise in UG NX, Parametric Modelling, surface modelling, and manufacturing & Joining techniques of BIW structures.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Design reviews and packaging reviews for solutions and quick actions.
  • Prototyping activities and builds.
  • Understanding program requirements and managing deliverables accordingly.
  • Handling project plans and teams.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have in-depth knowledge of Passenger Car BIW structure and Assembly.
  • Strong experience in UG NX, Parametric Modelling, surface modelling.
  • Experience in Manufacturing & Joining techniques of BIW structures.
  • Concept generation of the BIW components using CAD design & develop BIW panels for the automotive industry.
  • Ability to create Master sections.
  • Ability to interpret results of Structural, Static & Dynamic, manufacturing simulations for BIW Components.
  • In-depth knowledge of DFMA, manufacturing feasibility, tooling feasibility of BIW components.
  • Knowledge on materials, FMEA, GD&T and Stack Up analysis.
  • Team center knowledge is a must.
  • Critical thinking skills to drive cost optimization ideas on components and assembly.
