Senior Oracle Database Migration Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned expert to lead our database migration program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud migration, including expertise in Oracle Exadata and Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and drive migration strategy, methodologies, and best practices for zero/near-zero downtime, HA/DR.
  • Plan, design, and execute Oracle database migrations across various platforms, including Data Center-to-Data Center, AWS-to-AWS, Azure-to-Azure, Oracle Exadata, and Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer.
  • Implement data purging and archival strategies to optimize database size and performance pre/post-migration.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects, infrastructure teams, and application owners to ensure smooth migration with minimal business disruption.
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of Oracle Database experience, with 5+ years in leadership/managerial roles overseeing database migration programs.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale Oracle migrations in multi-cloud, Exadata, and ExaCC environments.
  • Strong experience with Oracle Exadata administration, migration, and performance tuning, as well as Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer implementation and management.
