Job Overview:

Fisdom's Research Department is seeking an experienced Technical Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will represent the department in internal and external forums, providing expert opinions on Indian equities and derivative strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and track equities, indices, bonds, commodities, and currencies using technical tools.
  • Develop medium/long-term trading recommendations and strategies based on technical calls.
  • Compile detailed Research Reports with market outlook and recommendations.
  • Prepare in-depth reports on the technical outlook of various asset classes.
  • Recommend long-term investment ideas and short-term trade picks for internal stakeholders.
  • Present market strategy and investment recommendations to clients.
  • Build a strong team of technical analysts through effective use of technology, people, and processes.
  • Maintain research registry and logs of recommendations developed.
  • Monitor recommendation strike rate to achieve industry-leading rates.
  • Develop written SOPs and process manuals for scalable functions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ Years of Experience in Technical Analysis, preferably with an established stockbroking firm.
  • Hands-on experience in Excel.
  • Proficiency in using technical analysis software.
  • Expertise in various chart patterns and technical market indicators.
  • Ability to identify market trends through technical analysis.

Job Brief:

Fisdom's Research Department is seeking a bright Technical Analyst with a quality-focused and result-oriented culture. The successful candidate will represent the department in internal and external forums, providing expert opinions on Indian equities and derivative strategies.

Job Description:

  1. Analyse and closely track equities, indices, bonds, commodities, and currencies using technical tools.
  2. Generating medium/long-term trading recommendations and developing trading strategies based on technical calls.
  3. Creating detailed Research Reports with market outlook and recommendations.
  4. Preparing detailed research reports on the technical outlook of various asset classes.
  5. Recommended long-term investment ideas and short-term trade picks for internal stakeholders.
  6. Involvement in client acquisition and presentation of reports on market strategy and investment recommendations.
  7. Develop a strong team of technical analysts through the effective use of technology, people, and processes.
  8. Maintain research registry along with logs of recommendations developed.
  9. Continuous monitoring of recommendation strike rate with an objective to achieve industry-leading rates.
  10. Develop written SOPs and process manuals to ensure the scalability of the function.

Requisites:

  1. 3+ Years of Experience in Technical Analysis. Experience with an established stockbroking firm is preferred.
  2. Hands-on experience in excel
  3. Proficiency in using technical analysis software(s)
  4. Expertise in various chart patterns and technical market indicators in all segments of the market and various indices.
  5. Ability to identify the market trend through technical analysis.
