Job Title: Power System Design Specialist

The ideal candidate for this role will be a skilled designer with expertise in creating mechanical structures, enclosures, and layouts that integrate seamlessly with electrical systems.

  • Create detailed designs for enclosures, busbar supports, frames, and layouts for power system equipment
  • Develop 2D/3D CAD models, fabrication drawings, and BOMs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards, including UL, CSA, and IEC regulations
  • Consider factors such as IP/NEMA ratings, thermal management, and safety requirements
  • Interpret electrical schematics to ensure proper mechanical/electrical integration
  • Collaborate with electrical designers to provide fully integrated solutions
  • Address thermal management, mechanical strength, structural stability, and vibration
  • Validate designs for manufacturability, reliability, and compliance
  • Lead assigned design tasks independently without step-by-step supervision
  • Drive design reviews, resolve technical issues, and provide engineering inputs across project phases

Important Note: Only candidates with proven hands-on power system design experience should apply. Applicants without relevant domain experience will not be considered.


Key Responsibilities:

• Drive design reviews, resolve technical issues, and provide engineering inputs across project phases

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other relevant design software
