Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Export Coordinator to join our team. As an Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the export process from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
  • Pre and Post Documentation: Prepare Export Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (BL), and other related documents as required.
  • Insurance Certificates: Generate Insurance Certificates through online portals and ensure that sufficient insured amount balance is maintained.
  • Hazardous Cargo: Understand various Hazard Classes, Packing Groups, and prepare Dangerous Goods Declarations (DGD).
  • Communication and Coordination: Coordinate with Factory, CHA, Forwarding Agents, Transporters, Shipping Lines, and Customers.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate Air or Sea freight with forwarders, shipping lines, or Customs Brokers.
  • Document Approval: Check and approve Shipping Bill (SB) Checklists/ Bill of Entry (BOE) Checklists/Air Waybill (AWB) Drafts/Bills of Lading (BL) Drafts, etc.
  • Flight/Vessel Booking: Coordinate with freight forwarders for flight/vessel booking.
  • Courier Shipments: Arrange courier shipments through DHL/FedEx.
  • Letter of Credit Shipments: Have knowledge of Letter of Credit (LC) Shipments.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure regular review and understanding of requirements of SCOMET and Narcotics for every shipment.
  • Customer Support: Resolve queries from export customers promptly and efficiently.
  • Transportation Management: Arrange transport for FCL shipments, factory stuffing.
  • COO Applications: Apply for Preferential & Non-preferential COOs online.
  • Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple shipments at a time efficiently.
  • Cargo Tracking: Send final shipment documents to customers and keep track of cargo till it is delivered to clients.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records for all export shipments, including up-to-date status of EGM and RODTEP benefit.
  • RODTrip Scrips: Knowledge of RODTEP Scrip generation and other DGFT/ICEGATE applications.
  • Packing Arrangements: Arrange relevant packing considering nature of shipments, especially for dangerous goods.
  • Import/Export Regulations: Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, including HS codes, tariffs, and taxes.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and reports, including import data and compliance documents.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
