Job Description

As a Penguin LLM Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and developing multi-turn conversations that simulate real interactions between users and AI assistants.

The ideal candidate will have experience in technical or analytical fields, with a strong grasp of APIs, data formats, and logical thinking. You will work closely with peers and reviewers to maintain consistency and high standards in deliverables.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing conversations that demonstrate natural language, intelligent behavior, and contextual understanding across multiple turns.
  • Emulating user and assistant interactions, including tool calls when corrections are needed.
  • Crafting dialogues that showcase the assistant's ability to complete feasible tasks, recognize infeasible ones, and maintain engaging general chat.
  • Ensuring all conversations adhere to defined formatting and quality guidelines using an internal playbook.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • 3+ years professional experience in a technical or analytical field.
  • Strong general technical reasoning skills and ability to model real-world assistant behavior using tool-based APIs.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English focusing on clarity, tone, and instructional coherence.
  • Creativity and attention to detail in crafting realistic scenarios and responses.
