Are you a seasoned accounting professional seeking a challenging role that utilizes your expertise in investment and general ledger accounting?

This position requires a candidate with hands-on experience in both investment and general ledger accounting, as well as a strong understanding of consolidated concepts and private equity accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate investment accounting and support staff with complex entries and reconciliations
  • Develop and implement effective accounting processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Required Skillset
  • General ledger accounting
  • Investment accounting (platforms such as Sage, QBO, Geneva, Investran)
  • Consolidated accounting concepts (eliminating entries)
  • Private equity accounting
  • Wealth enterprise accounting (entity cost allocation)
  • Trust & foundation accounting
  • Basic tax treatments
  • Diverse experience in investment and personal accounting, especially for family enterprises
  • Experience in a reviewer role and staff/project management
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Experience
  • Hands-on experience with both investment performance platforms (e.g., Black Diamond) and accounting systems (e.g., Sage, QBO)
  • Proven track record in investment accounting for family offices or similar environments
  • Ability to train and support staff on complex accounting entries and reconciliations
