Seeking a seasoned Risk Analyst to drive strategic risk management initiatives and ensure the stability of our lending operations.

Risk Management Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and review credit risk models and associated frameworks in an unsecured rural/semi-urban lending context.
  • Implement and monitor credit risk strategies across the lending life cycle-acquisition, underwriting, cross-sell, and collections.
  • Regularly review portfolios on various risk metrics for early warning signals and analyze portfolio trends to track portfolio quality against accepted risk parameters.
  • Ensure timely review of risk policies that reflect the dynamic external environment and internal risk appetite.
  • Analyze industry data at scale, prepare MIS/Dashboards, and brief senior management on changing market conditions.
  • Conduct regular reviews of processes to ensure adherence to risk policies and verify the effectiveness of controls in place.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to strengthen the risk framework.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from a Tier 1 institution.
  • 3-6 years of experience in managing risk in a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), Fintech, or Lending environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in Python and SQL is mandatory.
  • Excellent understanding of data insights and ability to bring actionable recommendations.
  • Sound knowledge of statistical models.
  • Experience in Microfinance/MSME Lending will be an added advantage.
