Technical Team Leader

We are seeking an exceptional technical team leader to oversee the development of our software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MERN stack technologies and AWS cloud services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and guiding a team of developers, ensuring best practices and high-quality deliverables. They will also take ownership of the overall quality and maintainability of the codebase, conducting pull request reviews and providing constructive feedback.

In addition, they will be responsible for architecting new features, considering scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability. This includes auditing the existing codebase, identifying improvement areas, and implementing enhancements to improve efficiency and quality.

Finally, they will ensure the creation and maintenance of clear, comprehensive technical documentation for both existing and new features.

Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
  • Proficiency with AWS cloud services and architecture design.
  • Proven track record of leading/managing a team of developers.
  • Strong background in code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and ensuring code quality.
  • Ability to architect systems and think holistically about platform design.
  • Experience in delivering new features and product enhancements with a focus on quality.
Good to Have
  • Experience with payment systems and payment gateway integrations.
  • Familiarity with video players, streaming technologies, and transcoding systems.
