The primary goal of this role is to provide Always Available secure database tier with high performance for both backend data and frontend application accessibility for end-users. This involves managing, maintaining and migrating secure databases on Cloud and On-Prem platforms.

">Key Responsibilities:">">Design, develop, install, tune, deploy, secure, migrate and upgrade DBMS installations">">Monitor database performance, identify and resolve database issues">">Migrate databases across Cloud and On-Prem platforms with minimal or no downtime">">Provide guidance and support to Developers on design, code review, SQL query performance tuning">">HA/DR setup, Replication, database encryption, Index and Filegroup management">">Monitor database system for performance and capacity constraints">">Liaise with Managers, Developers, Operations, System and Database administrators">">Suggest changes and improvements for management, maintenance and securing databases">">Explore new database tools and stay apprised about emerging technologies and trends
