Project Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and committed project coordinator to join our team. This is an opportunity to be part of a grassroots sports transformation program across Punjab.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, coordinate with stakeholders, manage tournaments and events, conduct field visits, and ensure compliance with standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Implementation & Operations:
    • Oversight of daily operations in target villages
    • Stakeholder coordination for smooth center functioning
    • Tournament management and engagement events
    • Field visits for monitoring activities and addressing issues
    • Compliance with attendance, coaching, equipment, and operational standards
  • Project Management:
    • Government relationship management for program delivery and advocacy
    • Liaison with departments for timely execution and clearances
    • Representation in official meetings, forums, and events
    • Micro-level activity planning aligned with annual goals
    • MIS tracking, KPI support, and reporting, budgeting, and logistics
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Partnership building with Panchayats, Sarpanches, schools, and local sports leaders
    • Effort alignment with district sports departments
    • Community outreach through schools, religious centers, and local campaigns
  • Talent Identification & Academy Coordination:
    • Youth talent identification and development support
    • Academy coordination for talent progression
    • Trial organization, training, and documentation management
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:
    • Success stories, field insights, and learnings documentation
    • Training material creation and SOP support
    • Field media capture for visibility and fundraising

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree with relevant experience
  • Government stakeholder engagement ability
  • Data management and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively within Punjab
