Job Title: Advanced Rotating Equipment Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced rotating equipment engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing rotating equipment solutions for various industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop rotating equipment solutions for oil refineries, petrochemical plants, and gas processing industries.
  • Techincal Evaluations: Perform technical evaluations of vendor proposals and specifications.
  • Equipment Evaluation: Evaluate operating equipment in process plant environments and work with operators and other plant personnel.
  • Specifications: Prepare and review specifications based on process data.
  • Clients Communication: Communicate and lead meetings with customers and vendors in the review of equipment specifications, bid evaluations, design calculations, and vendor drawing reviews.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 years of design-oriented rotating equipment experience in the Refining, Petrochemical, and Gas Processing industries.
  • Proficient in the use of computers for specification generation, technical evaluations, and the electronic sharing of data across geographically separated work groups.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members and other engineering personnel.
  • Open to 10% worldwide travel, typically of short duration (generally between a few days and two weeks).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
