Data Governance and Insight Specialist

Job Overview:
  • The Data Governance and Insight Specialist will be the front line in ensuring that data-driven insights drive our business forward.
  • This role will interact with Analytics, Business Operations, and IT functions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and/or automation.
  2. Manage and communicate optimization projects end-to-end.
  3. Maintain steady progress on open projects.
  4. Provide effective and frequent communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on project progress.
  5. Consult with downstream cross-functional teams for impact analysis of proposed projects.
  6. Manage complex, urgent, high-visibility, or intricate issues and escalations.
  7. Design, build, and analyze reporting and data visualizations for monitoring data accuracy and integrity.
  8. Evaluate mass data analysis and updates of account information to increase data accuracy.
  9. Enforce data standards, policies, and processes.
  10. Execute regular and periodic data maintenance and validation activities.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for optimization and process improvement.
  • Ability to communicate, advocate for, and lead optimization projects.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, especially with Sales Operations and IT.
  • Ability to pick up new tools, platforms, and business processes and policies.
  • Interest in data governance and maintenance.
  • Can execute tasks with high attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Organized, proactive individual that can operate independently in solving complex problems with little guidance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for internal collaboration.
  • Skillfully manage requestor escalations through appropriate channels.
  • Experience with SFDC is required.
  • Experience working with Google Suite or similar platforms.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
