
Advanced Healthcare Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to leverage advanced data analytics, predictive modelling, and real-world data (RWD) to deliver high-impact outcomes for pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and governments across Australia and globally.
This is a hands-on role where you will work with large-scale health datasets to uncover valuable insights, support the full lifecycle of pharmaceutical products—from development to market launch and post-market monitoring—using advanced analytics to uncover key trends and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support commercial Patient Analytics, commercial data analytics, data science, or advanced manipulation and interpretation of real-world healthcare datasets.
- Develop and optimise automated data pipelines to improve reporting efficiency and deliver faster insights.
- Build and present interactive dashboards, visualisations, and executive presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Partner with Product and Sales teams to translate analytical insights into scalable, productised solutions that align with our platform vision.
- Collaborate with regional analytics teams, sharing best practices in predictive modelling, machine learning, and advanced SQL querying to ensure consistent quality and innovation.
- Mentor junior team members, promoting analytical excellence and knowledge sharing.
Essential Criteria:
- 5+ years' experience in commercial data analytics, data science, or advanced manipulation and interpretation of real-world healthcare datasets.
- Proven expertise in SQL (advanced joins, window functions, aggregations), Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost), and data visualisation tools.
- Strong background in healthcare analytics using datasets from providers such as IQVIA, OPTUM, and KOMODO.
- Experience with predictive modelling, machine learning, risk stratification, and product uptake forecasting.
- Skilled in dashboard development, storytelling, and executive-level presentations.
- Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Economics).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business recommendations.
