AjnaLens is seeking a skilled 3D Artist to create high-quality environments, props, and characters for VR/MR simulations and games.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in creating optimized 3D assets using Blender, with knowledge of 3ds Max, Unity, and Unreal Engine a strong plus.

You will work closely with designers and developers to bring life-like experiences into our products, crafting immersive assets and animations that directly shape the scale, realism, and immersion of our cutting-edge simulations.

Daily Tasks:

  • Create optimized 3D environments, props, and characters for VR/MR simulations and games.
  • Rig, skin, and animate characters with realistic or stylized motion.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to integrate assets seamlessly into Unity and Unreal Engine.

Key Qualifications:

  • 3+ years as a 3D Artist in mobile, PC, VR, or MR game/simulation projects.
  • Experience contributing to at least 1 shipped project.

Favourite Tools:

  • Proficiency in Blender (modeling, texturing, rigging, animation).
  • Strong grasp of environment and object creation.
  • Good understanding of character modeling and animation pipelines.
  • Ability to optimize assets for immersive hardware (LOD, texture compression, light baking).
  • Familiarity with Unity and/or Unreal Engine integration.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Substance Painter/Designer (PBR workflows).
  • Sculpting expertise (Blender Sculpt / ZBrush).
  • Knowledge of VFX and particle systems.
  • Hands-on understanding of VR/MR optimization techniques (occlusion culling, batching, GPU/CPU balance).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git/Perforce).
