**Technical Content Writer Position**

RRD is currently seeking skilled Technical Content Writers to join our Information Technology team in Chennai.

  • Create and edit SOP documents including reference manuals and product manuals, tailoring content to meet client needs.
  • Develop and refine procedural documentation such as user guides and manuals, leveraging expertise to enhance reader understanding.
  • Determine the type of publication that will best serve project requirements, applying knowledge of audience needs and technical terminology.
  • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and project managers to gather information about specific products or processes, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Assess audience needs for whom the procedural documentation is intended, adjusting tone and technical terms used to meet those needs and ensure understanding.
  • Plan writing processes and set timelines and deadlines, prioritizing tasks to meet project objectives.
  • Work with graphic designers to create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist readers in understanding a product or process, enhancing clarity and engagement.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in Content writing field, particularly in Word (SOP and Manual documentation) and Powerpoint (Deck).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present complex data in clear, concise text.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related tools, with ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to provide ideas and insights to document content, showcasing creativity and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to draw Architecture diagrams & Network diagrams, utilizing technical skills to enhance documentation.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to work on multiple tasks during the same time frame, meeting deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
