Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Lead RPG Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications on the IBM i / AS/400 platform using RPG IV / RPG Free Format, CLLE, and ILE concepts.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement large-scale applications on the IBM i / AS/400 platform.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues related to application development.
  • Develop and maintain APIs using Open Access or web services.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 12 years of experience on the IBM i / AS/400 platform.
  • Proven expertise in RPG IV / RPG Free Format, CLLE, and ILE concepts.
  • Strong debugging skills using STRDBG, job logs, and error analysis.
  • Familiarity with file-based integrations and data exchange formats (EDI, XML, CSV).
  • Experience working with OMS, Inventory, WMS, and PO modules.
