Internal Control Specialist

This role is designed for individuals with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and internal control processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in auditing and compliance, with a focus on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and other financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement testing programs to ensure adherence to AML regulations.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design and execute fieldwork and testing initiatives.
- Train and mentor colleagues on relevant knowledge and practices.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives to improve delivery models and present findings to senior leadership.
- Analyze emerging regulatory risks and identify impending legislation affecting Compliance Monitoring Plans.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in internal audit, regulatory compliance or a related field.
- Good academic qualification with experience in compliance or legal.
- Chartered Accounts, CPA, CIA, ACAMS or MBA preferred.
- Strong internal control and validating testing skills.
