Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Offensive Security Professional to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your technical expertise in security assessment and vulnerability remediation.

About the Role:

  • This role will involve reviewing web/mobile applications, source code, operating systems, and network security architectures to identify vulnerabilities and define effective strategies for remediation and hardening.
  • You will be responsible for identifying gaps in controls and vulnerabilities in our Cloud infrastructure with containerized environments and GitOps deployment pipelines.
  • As an expert in offensive security, you will be able to think critically and identify areas of technical and non-technical risk.
  • You will research and develop tools, techniques, and exploits specific to Tide's architecture.
  • Additionally, you will help with the triaging and perform validations of external security submissions whenever required.
  • You will communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams regarding findings and remediation actions.
  • Furthermore, you will coach engineers across both Security and broader technical teams in the principles and practices of offensive security.
  • Partner with internal security and engineering teams on collaborative engagements that uncover vulnerability and detection opportunities across systems.
  • Lastly, you will identify weaknesses in product security controls – including vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and gaps in processes and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Passionate about security and secure application design.
  • Experience working within the Fintech or tech sector.
  • Experience in attack simulation and vulnerability research.
  • Comfortable explaining security issues and concerns to stakeholders.
  • Strong Experience in performing security assessments on cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, containers), mobile/web applications and APIs, and Mac/Windows.
  • Exposure to LLM testing.
