Job Opportunity: Senior EDI Expert

The key role of the Senior EDI Expert is to drive the development and maintenance of electronic solutions function and EDI capabilities. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and collaborative abilities to implement, manage, and optimize EDI systems and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup, maintain, and configure partner integrations for optimal performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate EDI processes for opportunities to improve and streamline data flows.

Project and Implementation Focus:

  • Participate in and lead EDI implementation initiatives and projects.
  • Collaborate closely with SAP teams and EDI providers.
  • Work effectively with 3PL and other EDI stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

Data Mapping and Transaction Handling:

  • Develop and maintain data maps and transaction sets.
  • Analyze and transform data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Technical Support and Training:

  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and incident handling.
  • Train internal teams in processes and systems.
  • Enhance the team's ability to resolve EDI issues independently.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT, XML) and communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP).
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • Demonstrated customer focus with the ability to meet project timelines.
  • Experience working in ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • At least 3 years of experience implementing and supporting EDI solutions, including working with warehouse and logistics transactions.
  • Project management experience.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
