Technical Solutions Developer

The role of a Technical Solutions Developer is to collaborate with senior team members in delivering projects through technical expertise.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Support the development and delivery of project solutions by utilizing knowledge and skills.
    • Contribute to project initiatives by applying problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
    • Develop and document technical strategies to meet business needs.
Operational Management
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with architects, technical analysts, and other IT professionals to ensure design consultation meetings are productive.
  • Organize and compile information for IT stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Present and document design solutions, adhering to established documentation standards.
  • Identify dependencies and integration points, recommending solutions that leverage program functions and interfaces.
  • Review software products for compliance with best practices, standards, and enterprise architecture.
  • Enhance knowledge of various system environments, utilities, and procedures.
  • Implement agile approaches to deliver services efficiently.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff, fostering growth and capability.
  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
People Leadership
  • Contribute to the project team's overall success.
Governance & Risk
  • Evaluate coding standards to ensure adherence to Infosec principles.
Experience & QualificationsExperience
  • A minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Customer Communication Management tools, specifically EngageOne (EO Application Server, EO Digital Deliver, EO Process Executive), as well as EO Designer Suite Version 6.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven ability to design and develop customer communications solutions using EngageOne or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in EngageOne Designer/Developer tools, including EngageOne Designer, EngageOne Interactive, and EngageOne Compose.
  • Ability to rapidly comprehend business requirements and functional specification documents.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management and workload prioritization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and logical analysis.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Superior communication and customer interface skills.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual design principles.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of document composition, variable data printing, and personalized communication concepts.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with alternative document composition tools, such as OpenText Exstream or GMC Inspire.
  • Knowledge of Jira.
