Brief Description of the Role

As part of our cutting-edge team, you'll support the development of advanced automated driving systems for global deployment. Your task will be to contribute to the creation of a future ADAS system generation, which will see our vehicle progress to full autonomous driving by 2030.

To achieve this vision, we're working on specific software functionalities developments that aim to build in-house software modules to maximize component reusability and robustness in the future landscape of autonomous driving.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake various tasks and work collaboratively in a multiple-disciplinary team to mentor junior SW engineers and clearly communicate findings through presentations and reporting.
  • Understand requirements and create high-level designs, decomposing them into detailed designs.
  • Mentor junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs.
  • Create software detailed designs and support their implementation in software and API interfaces required from internal teams.
  • Develop complex software to satisfy design objectives.
  • Clearly understand API design for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations.
  • Liaise effectively with global teams within our organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years in application design and development.
  • Proven track record of owning responsibility for low-level design, implementation, and validation in complex automotive projects.
  • Experience in designing and developing software solutions in AUTOSAR.
