Civil Structural Designer

As a skilled Civil Structural Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and models of structural elements using 3D/2D software.

With expertise in AutoCAD, Tekla, and Advance Steel, you will prepare GA and fabrication drawings with precision.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drawings Preparation: Utilize specialized software to create high-quality drawings for structural components.
  • General Arrangement Drawings: Prepare comprehensive drawings for structure Piperack/PEB Structure, ensuring accurate layouts and specifications.
  • Civil Foundation Drawings: Develop detailed drawings for civil foundation and beam structures, adhering to strict engineering standards.
  • Structural GA & Fabrication Drawings: Create precise drawings for structural members, including connection details, to facilitate smooth fabrication processes.
  • Layout Drawings: Prepare thorough layout drawings for structural components, considering spatial constraints and design requirements.
  • Cutting Layout Drawing: Develop detailed cutting layouts for structural members, minimizing material waste and optimizing production efficiency.
  • BOM's / MTO's: Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Material Take-Offs (MTOs) for structural components, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Bar Bending Schedule: Familiarity with bar bending schedules is advantageous, enabling efficient structural component preparation.
  • As-built Mark-ups: Update CAD drawings with as-built mark-ups, reflecting changes and modifications made during fabrication.
  • Shop Floor Issues: Collaborate with the shop floor team to address fabrication-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Vendor Drawing Review: Conduct thorough reviews of vendor drawings, providing valuable feedback and comments to ensure compliance with design specifications.
