Strategic Currency Specialist

Job Description: Corporate treasury plays a crucial role in the financial well-being of an organization. It encompasses effective currency risk management, optimal investment returns, and efficient cash management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement hedging strategies across various currencies using technical analysis and macroeconomic fundamentals.
- Prepare independent market research notes and articulate market views.
- Manage banking relationships, source funding, and devise cost-optimizing hedging strategies for borrowing in INR or FCY.
- Utilize industry connections to leverage market intelligence and stay updated on accounting conventions applicable to corporate treasury.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Sound understanding of macroeconomic drivers and ability to develop independent market views.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- CA/MBA – Finance (Full-time) or CFA certification with 5-10 years of experience in financial markets, particularly in FX.
