Job Description

As a senior scientist, you will play a key role in enhancing search performance by conducting thorough analyses of large datasets and designing innovative search models.

  • Develop and implement algorithms to optimize search results and improve user experience.
  • Generate actionable insights from data and communicate findings to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define project goals and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and search technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Masters degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, or other quantitative fields.
  • 7+ years experience as an Applied Scientist or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Python or R programming languages and experience working with large data sets at scale.
  • Experience using SQL in a production environment.
  • Strong background in experimental design and analysis, exploratory data analysis, and statistical analysis.
Preferred Qualifications

We welcome candidates with:

  • PhD degree equivalent experience in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, or other quantitative fields with 5+ years experience as a Scientist or equivalent.
  • Experience building consumer-facing products in a technology company.
  • Background in Machine Learning and Deep Learning model development.
