High-Quality Process Design Kit Developer

As a seasoned Process Design Kit (PDK) Developer, you will be responsible for crafting and validating cutting-edge PDKs for the Synopsys Custom Design platform.

  • You will work closely with internal and external customers to deliver top-notch PDKs, gathering data and specifications as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and implement custom tool adjacencies like Physical Verification, Parasitic Extraction, and Design Enablement.
  • Coach junior PDK developers to create high-quality, design-ready PDKs for Custom Compiler users.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to enable feature-rich iPDKs.

  • Contribute to the successful deployment and optimization of Synopsys Custom Design platforms.

  • Mentor and develop the next generation of PDK developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen Synopsys position as a leader in the semiconductor industry through high-quality, reliable PDK solutions.
What We're Looking For:
  • BS with 5+ years of relevant experience or MS with 4+ years of experience.
  • Basic understanding of the design process.
  • Expert knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, and UNIX.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Experience in executing projects from start to completion, handling complex projects, and identifying best practices.
