Senior Modeling Lead

We are seeking a seasoned leader to head our Compact Modeling team. This high-impact group requires technical excellence, collaboration, and focus on model accuracy, predictability, and integration into design workflows.

This role demands deep technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and strong focus on model performance metrics and predictive insights. You will mentor and grow technical talent, promote best practices, and create an environment where engineers can innovate and deliver high-quality modeling solutions.

  • Lead a team of engineers in developing, validating, and delivering compact models across CMOS, interconnect, array, and reliability domains.
  • Own and guide the complete model development lifecycle, including extraction, extrapolation, verification, and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with CAD, Process Integration, Design Engineering, Product Engineering, and Quality Assurance to ensure models meet performance and design enablement goals.
About the Role

Responsibilities include overseeing test structure design and verification, analyzing DC and AC device data, directing advanced characterization efforts, and communicating model performance metrics and predictive insights to global design teams and technical leadership.

You will have a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, along with 15+ years of experience in compact modeling in the semiconductor industry.

Requirements

Key qualifications include proven experience in compact model development, model verification and validation, test structure definition and validation, and delivering compact modeling collaterals as part of PDKs or design enablement flows.

A strong understanding of CMOS device physics and modeling principles is essential, along with hands-on experience with wafer-level device characterization and familiarity with PDK development, circuit simulators, and design environments.

Demonstrated ability to mentor or manage technical teams is also required, with experience in analog or memory circuit design being a plus.
