Job Title: Senior Vice President, Credit Risk
We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our credit risk management efforts. As Senior Vice President, Credit Risk, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective credit risk strategies that minimize losses and maximize returns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive credit risk models to accurately assess portfolio performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement credit policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate risk.
- Lead the development of predictive analytics and machine learning models to improve credit decisioning and risk assessment.
- Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying trends and opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Provide strategic guidance on credit risk management to senior leadership and the board of directors.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in credit risk management, with a strong background in financial modeling, analytics, and strategy.
- Proven track record of successfully leading credit risk initiatives and driving business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of credit risk methodologies, including credit scoring, loss forecasting, and collateral valuation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as finance, economics, or mathematics.
